Pregnancy - up and down's(part one)

Getting pregnant for most women is the best thing that could ever happen to them. It is a chance to create a life, a chance to make something completely wonderful. And this does not apply for the woman, but for the man as well.

Being parents, seeing their child grow from a tiny, little embrion to a full grown human being is amazing. There are also other interesting experiences, while pregnant. The picking of names, buying of clothes, decorating the room and many more. But unfortunately, things are not always only peachy, especially for the woman.

During the nine months of pregnancy, a woman may come upon a series of discomforts. Morning sickness, back pain are only two of many. So if the joy is very big, sometimes so is the pain. One good thing though is that by knowing what to expect, a woman can prepare herself and make the best of what she can. Not all women suffer from these discomforts, but be sure that all womenexperience even one little discomfort during her pregnancy.

All problems that women have during the nine(seven in some cases) that they are pregnant are put under one category, that being pregnancy discomforts. Whatever makes a woman uncomfortable, sick are listed under this category. The range of this problems is very wide and differs from a person to another. Problems during pregnancy can vary from fatigue to complicated pregnancy symptoms.

To fully understand pregnancy, one must definitely understand why these discomforts appear and what is to do about them. This is what I am going to explain.

Swelling is one of the problems and is generally found in all women. The body parts that tend to swallow are the ankle and the feet. Going from place to another becomes more and more difficult and tiresome. There is also the "minor"detail that tour favorite shoes won't feet you and your feet look like they belong more to an elephant. There is nothing to worry about! This is completely normal during pregnancy and the swallowing will end once you give birth. This ugly event can happen during the third trimester. Hands may swallow as well, but only a little bit.

The hormonal shifts that happen during pregnancy cause the swallowing. Also because of hormones, the body is able to retain more water than usual, which easily turns into soft tissue. The thing to do in these cases is to rest your feet as much as you can, during plenty of water, in order to maintain the circulation and wear stockings that support your feet. If the swallowing is sever, one must consult a doctor.
